Welcome New Ministerial Intern
Oscar E. Banks will join us in September as a ministerial intern for special projects. He comes with a wealth of knowledge in the development of programming for children and youth. Oscar will help us research what ministries are needed at the north campus, especially in the area of after school programming and recreational ministries.
He has worked with Washington Township Schools and has served as the youth and family coordinator for the Jordan YMCA.
A long-time member of Light of the World Christian Church, Indianapolis, Oscar is a student at Christian Theological Seminary.
Office updates
With the opening of our north campus, a new phone system has been installed at both locations. It allows for calls to be transferred from building to building. The primary telephone number of Geist Christian Church remains the same, 317-842-3594. All staff extensions have changed. This allows for staff to work at both campuses, depending on programs and events.
Mark Briley and Cara Gilger have moved their primary offices to the north campus. Randy Spleth,
Ryan Hazen , and Courtney Richards will remain at the south. Depending on the time or day, they may be at either location using a secondary office.

Rummage sale nets $4,000
The annual rummage sale raised almost $4,000 for the ministry of Geist Christian Church. This amount was close to a record amount. Thanks to the leadership, workers, donators and shoppers for making this sale a huge success.
