| Duncan Begins Composition Leave |

Beginning September 1, David Duncan will be on a leave of absence for the coming year to compose and produce original music.
“Over the years, we’ve been blessed by David’s arrangements and improvisation on hymns” said senior minister Randy Spleth. “A publisher has been waiting for his sabbatical. This time will allow him to meet this obligation and share with the larger church what we enjoy each week.”
Directing adult and bell choirs during David’s absence will be Vicki Ramga. Sharing duties at the organ will be Lisa Mott and Shirley Coolridge.
Ramga and her husband Dean have been active in our music program since joining the congregation in 2001. She is the music teacher at
Durbin
Elementary School . Ramga received her Bachelor of Science degree in music education from The Ohio State University and masters from
Capital
University .
Sharing the duties at the organ will be Lisa Mott and Shirley Coolridge, who are well-known to the congregation as both have served as guest organists. Mott is currently the accompanist for the choral department at Lawrence Central and an active member of the
Indianapolis chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Coolidge is Anderson University Assistant Professor of Music Emeritus and Organist Emeritus at Park Place Church of God.
