YOUTH MINISTRIES
ALTARed and enliven Youth Worship … Never the Same – two weekly youth worship services for students centered on faith and interested in exploring a life of worship meet together to experience and praise the awesome presence of God. Led by youth, opportunities are available to help lead and assist in the services.

ALTARed Youth Worship Center, 86th and Mud Creek Rd (South Campus)
ALTARed and enliven Media Team - prepares slides, Powerpoint programs, mixes sound, sets and operates lights and more.

Youth Groups - a place for youth in grades 6-12 to enjoy fellowship, activities and small group discussions relative to the grade level and real life experiences of each participant. This setting is designed to provide youth a forum to examine their faith and experience opportunities for outreach and service to others .
Youth Group Schedule.
Regular Date: Sundays weekly, North campus beginning August 22
Time : Chi Rho (grades 6-8) and CYF (grades 9-12) - 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Snacks: (no cost to students) will be provided each evening of youth group. Promise Road Coffee will also be open for business if students wish to purchase a flavored beverage or milkshake.

Christmas Lock-In "A Not-So-Silent Night" - An eagerly anticipated favorite for both Chi Rho and CYF age youth. Games , food, music, movies, midnight worship and always a few surprises.

CYF Fall Retreat - A new opportunity for senior high youth to experience team building, learning and fellowship.
Chi Rho Fall Retreat — An annual overnight getaway for group building exercises and great fun! A growing tradition and a youth favorite!
Rites of Passage — A “must experience” tradition for those entering high school. This overnight experience, led by a group of men and women from the church, is designed to deal with issues of transition for our young people. Expect to be challenged physically, mentally, and spiritually. Expect the unexpected!
Summer Mission Trips —The mission
of Geist Christian Church Youth Ministry is to transform lives for Jesus by
connecting, growing and serving. Our annual summer mission trips are one
example of how our mission is lived out through our body of believers. This
summer, we offer two mission trips for our Junior High and Senior High Youth.

Senior High MOVE
MOVE is a
5-day high school only event, designed to amplify the call of Christ on
students lives to become Kingdom workers. Located on college campuses across
the nation, Move provides a program for 25,000 high school students every
summer. Students are challenged through intense, interactive worship, dynamic
preaching, small group study, and community building. Students at Move not only
learn and worship together but also spend quality time with their church youth
group, discovering ways that God will use them to be a greater help to the
world.
