We say that Geist Christian Church is a community with a heart for God and a heart for people. That's never MORE true than when we're looking outside ourselves, toward a community, a city, a world in need.
Mission trips put our faith into action. We roll up our sleeves, break a sweat, get our hands dirty and make our muscles ache. And at the end of the day, at the end of the week, we know that we've done what Jesus would have us do - we know that we have been the body of Christ, offered to a hurting world.
GCC will take mission trips (adults) over the course of the year, to respond to the needs of the larger community, sometimes in answer to specific events or requests for volunteers ... and most of all, to the call of Christ on our lives. What to do?
Each summer, our youth groups (Chi Rho = junior high; CYF = high school)
spend a week together in service and fellowship. Visit the Geist Youth
