Operation Christmas Child

November is the month to have your child/children reach out to others. It’s time to pack a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child and then bring it to church the weekend of November 22 and 23.

Geist Kids & JYF groups will gather after the morning worship services, November 23, to enjoy lunch, organize the shoe boxes, and deliver them to Heritage Christian School to be packed on a truck and sent to children all over the world.

Operation Christmas Child brochures were sent home with children in October and are available at both locations in the children’s education area. These brochures are a good resource to know what is appropriate to pack in the shoe boxes. It also provides “girl” and “boy” labels. Information also is available at the Samaritans Purse website.
