Schuyler Brinson

Schuyler Brinson maintains a busy schedule as a pianist, organist, and conductor. Beginning piano lessons at the age of 8, Schuyler has been a church musician since he was 14 years old. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in church music and organ from Anderson University. Schuyler has performed with the Marion Philharmonic Orchestra and has played for Gospel Artist Sandi Patty and renowned soprano Sylvia McNair. He plays regularly with the Anderson Symphony Orchestra and is an adjunct faculty at the Anderson University School of Music, Theatre and Dance, where he conducts the Symphonic Choir and is an accompanist. As a freelance musician, Schuyler has performed with many choral ensembles in the Indianapolis area, including the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, with whom he toured and performed in Rome, Italy, and played for mass at the Vatican.

Schuyler has served at Geist Christian Church since June 2014. In May of 2020, he answered a call to ministry and was commissioned as a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Schuyler is married to Rachel and has two step-children.
