Connecting to the Heart of Small Groups
“Geist Connect” launch set for October 2

“Geist Groups,” our small group ministry will create a space where people with similar interests and passions can connect and learn with one another through fellowship, prayer, care, study and service.

I once read that two heart cells when placed in a Petri dish will, over time, come together to share the same beat or rhythm. As we anticipate the north campus launch and the continued deepening of the south campus ministry, we have a unique opportunity to connect to one another and find a new rhythm of faith.

Finding meaningful connection within a community is vital to our rhythm as Christians and as part of Geist Christian Church. Part of my ministry at Geist Christian is to cultivate a small group ministry that gives people the opportunity to connect to other people in the church, to care for one another and to grow in faith.

As we continue to grow as one church in two locations it is my hope that when we gather in small groups we slowly begin to beat in rhythm with what God is doing in this place.
