Several Small Groups Launched
New small groups for couples, women, men, mothers of young children, and older adults are underway following the inaugural of Geist Groups under the leadership of Cara Gilger, resident minister of spiritual formation.
More than 50 people attended an initial orientation session at the north campus last month, “committing themselves to going deeper in their relationship with God,” noted Gilger.
Geist Groups is a small groups ministry formed at Geist Christian in the hopes of creating space for people to connect to others and God in a meaningful way. A special thanks goes to the small group leadership team, Martel Plummer, and Joe and Judy Allison, who have been in the visioning process for this ministry since the summer months.
