Do you know that Geist Christian Church has a small group of people who work “behind the scenes” to assist in your worship experience? Would you like to help create or change worship banners, decorate for holidays, distribute Christmas poinsettias and Easter Lilies, setup chairs for north campus services?

Do you have an hour or two a month to help make the celebration of worship special for all? Or would you be available occasionally to help sew banners? One of the many volunteer service opportunities where you are needed is as a Worship Asssistant. Our various ministries are looking for you and others to assist in special ways. Here are a few of the servant opportunities needing your help in the coming months.

North campus reception desk: Volunteer to staff the reception area desk to greet visitors and answer general questions, hours are flexible. This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it , 317-842-3594.

Cookie bakers: During the holidays, cookies are needed for various activities for our church and community.  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  

Snow shovelers: With two locations and cold weather on the way, we need the strong and able to be on call to clear walkways at either location. Teenagers and older are welcomed. Setup chairs: Volunteers to give an hour or two on Saturday afternoons to set up for worship services at the north campus. This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Greeters/Hospitality: With all the new people visiting, we need those willing to extend a warm smile and handshake to welcome those at each service, both locations.  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Driving Team: To ease the transition between campuses, senior minister Randy Spleth needs transportation between the two sites on Sunday morning.
