Mission: The purpose of Weekday Ministries is to develop a love for education and to build a foundation for life-long learning skills. This is a place where each child is valued as an individual, where children recognize God’s love and explore the sensory experience of God’s world, and we all work together to become the person God created us to be.
As a faith-based program we integrate faith into all aspects of our learning and teach that giving back to the larger community is part of who we are. Our faith and values are based on the following three principles: God loves you, we love you, and we can share God's love with others.
Programs We Offer
Child’s Day Out
Age: 18 months– 3 years old (must be 18 months old by September 1)
Hours: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm
Options: 1- or 2-days a week
Class Size: 10-12 students with 1 full-time teacher and 1 full-time assistant
Calendar: Classes begin the first week of September and end the third week of May.
Preschool / Pre-Kindergarten
Age: 3 – 5 years old (must be 3 years old by August 1)
Hours: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm Options: 2- or 3-days a week Other: Children need to be potty trained by the first day of school in September
Class Size: 13-15 students with 1 full-time teacher and 1 full-time assistant Calendar: Classes begin the first week of September and end the third week of May.
Transitional Kindergarten
Age: 5 years old by October 1 (placement is based on birthdate)
Hours: 9:30 am - 1:30 pm on Tuesday-Friday
Class Size: 16-18 students with 1 full-time teacher and 1 full-time assistant
Calendar: Classes start in mid-August and end in late May to coincide with the local school districts.
Kindergarten
Age: 5 years old by August 1 Hours: 9:00 am - 2:30 pm on Monday-Friday
Class Size: 20-24 students with 1 full time teacher and 1 full time assistant
Calendar: Classes start in mid-August and end in late May to coincide with the local school districts.
