At Geist Christian Church, we are dedicated to feeding people. Every year, we join forces with non-profit agencies that actively combat food insecurity. Together, we work toward the common goal of ensuring individuals and families have access to nutritious meals. Below are overviews of each of the organizations and one thing YOU can do to help address food insecurity in our community. For more information on click on the links provided, or email Geist Christian Church as serve@geistchristian.org.

The Come-To-Me Food Pantry opened its doors on October 17, 2007, and has grown into a community-wide effort to feed thousands of individuals and families in Hamilton County. Our goal continues to be to show love and care to those in need by providing a week’s supply of food and personal care items each month. So far over 2 million pounds of food and personal care items have been distributed!

Second Helpings is a community kitchen that prepares and delivers more than 1 million meals to the Central Indiana community each year. We’re not just teaching people to cook. We’re providing an avenue for people to transform their own lives. We don’t just collect food. We rescue food because we refuse to stand by and allow waste while so many in our community do not have the healthy food they need to thrive.
