Think of a moment when someone made you feel truly cared for, not because they had to, but because they wanted to. Maybe they noticed you, listened closely, brought a meal, offered a hand, or simply showed up at the right time. Small acts of care rarely stay small. They have a way of reaching beyond the moment, strengthening relationships and reminding us that we do not walk through life alone. That is part of who we are at Geist Christian Church: people choosing, again and again, to share what we have so others may feel loved, seen, and welcomed.

Our 2027 stewardship theme is Everyday Generosity.

Generosity is not reserved for big moments. More often, it is woven into the ordinary choices we make each day. Every gift, whatever its size, becomes part of something larger than any one of us. Through your giving, we worship, serve, teach, welcome, care, and grow together. The pages that follow offer a glimpse of what your generosity makes possible and where we believe God is calling us in the year ahead.

As you prayerfully consider your pledge to the General Fund for 2026-2027, we invite you to think about more than a budget or a number. Think about what your giving makes possible. A place where children are known and loved. Where someone going through a difficult season finds people willing to walk beside them. Where neighbors are served and new people are welcomed. Where each of us can find a place to belong, a place to grow, and a place to serve.

This is what everyday generosity can do. Together, the gifts we offer become a ministry of love that reaches farther than any of us could on our own.
