Amy serves as the director of children and family ministries and pastoral assistant at Geist Christian Church, where she balances organizational leadership with a deep heart for congregational care. Amy followed a multi-faceted professional path to ministry. With degrees in communications and psychology from Purdue University and a degree in nutrition from IUPUI, her background includes experience in logistics, health coaching, and five years as an elementary special education teacher—a role that deeply shaped her commitment to family care and inclusive ministry.

In her dual role, Amy is dedicated to nurturing spiritual formation in the next generation while providing vital support to the pastoral team and broader church community. She is passionate about creating environments where families feel supported, and children are empowered to discover their faith.

Amy is married to her husband, Andy, and they are proud parents to Jules, Molly, and Drew. She spends much of her free time having fun with her family, gardening, and exploring the outdoors while hiking local trails, birding, and camping.
