Danny was ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Georgia in 2008. Prior to entering the ministry, he was a successful sales executive with CareerBuilder.com. He has also served in multiple ministerial positions over his career, including Vice President of Client Relations for the Pension Fund and Senior Minister at Sandy Springs Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) just outside of Atlanta. He strongly believes the church at its best can change peoples’ lives, communities, and the world.

Danny is a noted preacher and a seasoned keynoter and workshop leader. He has served the church on the Administrative Committee, the General Minister and President Search Committee, the Georgia Regional Minister Search Committee, the General Board, the Council on Christian Unity Board. He currently serves on the board for the National Benevolent Association and as a member of the Cornerstones Leadership Team for clergy wellness. He has taken part in 52 weeks of church camp and has been on 20 international mission trips. He is an alumnus of the Bethany Fellows.

Danny is married to Mary Michael, and they have two teenage daughters. He cheers loudly for the University of Georgia Bulldogs and Arsenal. Danny holds the Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University and is currently pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degree at Lexington Theological Seminary.
